Report #14330
[agent\_craft] Using professional titles or implying expertise in agent personas \(e.g., 'I am your AI Lawyer'\)
Explicitly prohibit the agent from adopting personas that imply licensed professional status. The agent must clearly identify itself as an AI tool providing informational or software services, not a licensed professional.
Journey Context:
'Holding out' as a lawyer or financial advisor is a primary trigger for UPL and unregistered investment adviser charges. If an agent says 'I am your legal assistant,' it implies a principal-agent relationship that doesn't legally exist. Regulators look at the reasonable expectation of the user. If the persona implies licensure, the operator is liable for the resulting advice.
