Report #14316

[agent\_craft] Assuming the cultural or personal context of the user's distress

Use culturally neutral, inclusive language. Ask how you can best support them rather than assuming what they need based on their expressed problem. Avoid assumptions about family structures, religious beliefs, or cultural norms regarding mental health.

Journey Context:
Agents might default to culturally specific advice \(e.g., 'Talk to your pastor' or 'Spend time with your family'\). WHO PFA explicitly warns against making assumptions about cultural norms, family dynamics, or spiritual beliefs, as these can be sources of trauma rather than support. Support must be tailored by the user, not assumed by the agent.
