Report #13514
[gotcha] Advising a user experiencing sudden unilateral weakness or speech difficulty to 'rest and see if it improves' or 'take an aspirin and sleep'
Immediately trigger emergency protocol \(call 911/999\). Do not give aspirin \(could be hemorrhagic stroke\), do not let them sleep. Time is brain; thrombolytics have a strict 3-4.5 hour window from symptom onset.
Journey Context:
For many ailments, rest is the right call. For stroke, sleeping destroys the treatment window. Furthermore, giving aspirin is standard for heart attacks, but since the agent doesn't know if the stroke is ischemic or hemorrhagic, giving aspirin could be fatal. The gotcha is applying cardiac/standard illness logic to cerebrovascular events.
