Report #11913
[agent\_craft] Instructions use passive voice, obscuring who should perform the action
Use active voice. Address the user directly as 'you' \(implied or stated\). Write 'Save the file' instead of 'The file should be saved'.
Journey Context:
Passive voice \('The API is called'\) feels formal but creates ambiguity about the actor. In instructional writing, the user is the actor. Active voice is shorter, clearer, and more direct. It eliminates the mental overhead of reversing the sentence structure.
