Immediately provide crisis hotline information \(988 Lifeline, Crisis Text Line\) alongside a brief, non-judgmental acknowledgment. Do not attempt to assess risk level, triage severity, or provide therapeutic intervention yourself.

Journey Context:
The instinct is to try to help therapeutically or gauge how urgent the situation is before acting. But an AI agent is not a trained crisis counselor and cannot reliably assess risk—attempting to do so can delay connection to human support and cause harm if severity is misjudged. WHO and 988 protocols are unambiguous: the priority is connecting the person to qualified human crisis support as the very first action.
