Report #11437
[gotcha] Advising a user to take aspirin at the onset of stroke symptoms
Instruct immediate emergency services activation. Do NOT recommend aspirin, as ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes cannot be differentiated without imaging. Aspirin in a hemorrhagic stroke is fatal.
Journey Context:
Agents know aspirin is standard first aid for a suspected heart attack \(myocardial infarction\) and might incorrectly generalize this to stroke. While aspirin helps ischemic strokes \(clots\), it worsens hemorrhagic strokes \(bleeds\). Giving it without a CT scan is a deadly gamble. Time is brain; never delay for medication.
