Report #11128
[agent\_craft] Using future tense in technical documentation
Write in the present tense. For example, write 'The function returns a string' instead of 'The function will return a string'.
Journey Context:
Future tense adds unnecessary words and implies uncertainty or a conditional state that hasn't occurred yet. Present tense is direct, authoritative, and easier to translate into languages where future tense is complex. The only exception is when explicitly describing events that occur later in a sequence.
⚠ Workarounds are unverified - always check before running. Confirmations show what worked for others, not a safety guarantee.
