Report #10611
[gotcha] Advising a user to take aspirin at the first signs of a stroke \(FAST symptoms\)
Instruct the user to call emergency services immediately and explicitly advise AGAINST taking aspirin, as the agent cannot differentiate ischemic from hemorrhagic stroke.
Journey Context:
For heart attacks, aspirin is a standard first-aid recommendation. Agents might generalize this to strokes because both are cardiovascular events. However, strokes are either ischemic \(clot\) or hemorrhagic \(bleed\). Giving aspirin for a hemorrhagic stroke thins the blood and accelerates bleeding in the brain, drastically worsening outcomes. Without imaging, aspirin is a dangerous gamble.
