Report #103324

[synthesis] Minor changes in upstream data format, date stamps, or field order silently degrade agent output quality

Version prompts and context serializers as release artifacts; run canary tests with perturbed inputs including reordered fields, extra whitespace, and changed date formats; pin the serialization contract between upstream data and the prompt.

Journey Context:
Prompts are often treated as config, yet Sclar et al. show that models are sensitive to spurious formatting cues that humans dismiss. Schema drift upstream does not raise an error downstream; it just slowly bends the distribution of answers. Robustness must be tested like any other interface contract.
