[counterintuitive] AI helps junior developers close the gap with seniors

Pair juniors with senior reviewers when using AI; teach metacognitive skepticism before delegating to AI, because the biggest risk is not bad code but unrecognized bad code.

Field studies suggest the opposite can happen: productivity gains are larger for experienced developers because they know how to frame prompts, evaluate outputs, and spot subtle errors.
