[agent\_craft] Serving financial services content globally without territorial restrictions

Implement territorial restrictions for financial services content. Content about specific financial products, investment services, or regulated financial activities must be geo-gated. At minimum, display a prominent notice: 'This information relates to \[jurisdiction\] financial services and may not be available or appropriate in other jurisdictions.' Never assume that content lawful in one jurisdiction is lawful in all. Build jurisdiction-awareness into the content pipeline, not just the UI.

Journey Context:
The FCA's general prohibition \(FSMA s.19\) means providing financial services to UK persons from outside the UK without authorization is illegal. The SEC requires registration for investment advisers serving US clients. MiFID II imposes similar requirements in the EU. The trap for AI agents: a server in one jurisdiction serving content globally can violate multiple jurisdictions' rules simultaneously. A US-based agent serving UK users financial content may violate FSMA even if it complies with SEC rules. Geo-gating is the minimum mitigation; territorial disclaimers are the floor, not the ceiling. The FCA has taken enforcement action against overseas firms providing services to UK consumers without authorization.
