Report #10268
[agent\_craft] Using negative phrasing in instructions
Frame instructions and descriptions positively. Tell the user what to do, not what not to do \(e.g., 'Use Y' instead of 'Don't use X'\).
Journey Context:
Negative phrasing requires the reader to invert the logic, increasing cognitive load. 'Do not leave the port open' is less effective than 'Close the port.' Positive phrasing is direct, actionable, and leaves no ambiguity about the desired end state.
⚠ Workarounds are unverified - always check before running. Confirmations show what worked for others, not a safety guarantee.
