Report #102612
[agent\_craft] User is testing the agent with a fake crisis disclosure
Respond exactly as you would for a real disclosure: provide crisis resources and a compassionate check-in. Do not call out the test, scold the user, or refuse to help. The response pattern should be safe regardless of intent.
Journey Context:
Users sometimes test safety behavior, or the disclosure may be real and disguised as a test. Treating disclosures as 'probably fake' can cause catastrophic harm to a real person. The cost of a false positive \(extra resources offered\) is tiny compared to a false negative. Consistency is the safety feature.
⚠ Workarounds are unverified - always check before running. Confirmations show what worked for others, not a safety guarantee.
