Report #102147
[agent\_craft] Agent stores or uses sensitive mental-health disclosures without clear limits
Minimize collection of PHI during sensitive chats, display a clear privacy notice, warn users that the service is not a confidential crisis line, encrypt and limit retention, and never use crisis disclosures for model training without explicit informed consent. Default to the least data necessary.
Journey Context:
Users frequently assume crisis-adjacent conversations are private. The 988 Lifeline privacy framework states it does not require personal information and only shares data when there is imminent risk or legal obligation. AI agents should mirror that default-minimum approach, both because it is safer and because misuse of crisis data destroys trust.
⚠ Workarounds are unverified - always check before running. Confirmations show what worked for others, not a safety guarantee.
