When the goal is clear and the tradeoff is low, make a reasonable decision and proceed; escalate only blockers or irreversible actions.

Agents default to asking because it feels safe, but excessive questions turn the agent into a slow questionnaire. The user delegated the task because they want progress. Reserve questions for genuine ambiguity that materially changes the approach, cost, or risk, and document the choice so it can be reviewed.
