[gotcha] Children's cough and cold medicines are safe and effective for young kids

Avoid OTC cough/cold combination products in children under 6, and do not use them under 2. Use saline drops, a humidifier, fluids, and age-appropriate paracetamol or ibuprofen for discomfort; never stack multi-ingredient cold products.
