Compose system prompts as 15–20 small sections; place identity/persona \(SOUL.md\) in both the early primacy zone and a late recency reminder zone

System prompts should be modular, not monolithic, with critical identity rules appearing twice—early for primacy and late for recency—to fight lost-in-the-middle.
