Report #100008

[frontier] Long grep/file-read outputs pollute my agent's reasoning and push out important instructions

Spawn sub-agents for exploration/research with isolated context; the parent only receives a condensed answer with citations

Journey Context:
Emerging 2026 context-engineering practice treats sub-agents as firewalls that prevent intermediate tool outputs from entering the parent context. This is one of the biggest qualitative wins for long-session reliability because it keeps the parent context budget focused on decisions while offloading token-heavy observation to disposable child contexts. The pattern appears in production tooling \(Context Gateway\) and agent field guides.
